Q: Can a electric trolling motor be used

A: It doesn't look like there is an over the counter adapter to make this happen but if you look up "Old Town Saranac 146 trolling motor" on Google you can find some pages where users talk about custom applications they have put in place to make this happen. So it's totally doable but it's going to take some fabrication and engineering but who doesn't love that?
